Christmas Inflation

The holidays are fast approaching and for the occasion, the Milk on the Rocks team designed this original, literally “hand-made”, Christmas tree. Standing almost 8 feet tall, the tree is made entirely of surgical gloves. Approximately 600 gloves were used and a lot of air was necessary in making this holiday gem. At the foot of the tree lies our new stock of gadgets, toys, and accessories, arriving just in time for the holidays.

Come visit us. The window will leave you, like it did for us, breathless!

Woouf!

Woouf, a young new design studio hailing from Barcelona, creates a twisted funny universe of unique poufs and cushions as part of their winter collection to enliven any interior. Falling in love at first site, the team of Milk on the Rocks, insisted we carry these in the boutique so currently on the menu: a giant pillow camera, a huge amplifier, a vintage luggage trunk, and of course a burger and fries. Visit the boutique and supersize it!

All machine washable, priced at 175 € each.
Available at the Milk on the Rocks boutique in Paris, 7 rue de Mézières, 75006.

Trick or Treat

The team of Milk on the Rocks back from a long voyage to the East found some surprising glimpses of Halloween lining the streets of Hong Kong.

Since Hallowe’en has longtime been honored as an American holiday (with Scottish/Old English roots), it’s always surprising to see it celebrated in full force in cities in Asia abroad. Proof was this massive ghouhlish installation haunting Hong Kong’s city center with hanging sculls and suspended body parts in a ghastly macabre scene. We loved this very original bridal party that actually also doubled as a display for items on sale in the boutiques below. Creepy cool.

Jurassic Rock

Disco, punk and dinos live forever at Milk on the Rocks !

Saturday Dino Fever takes us back to those old school days of Studio 54, where you could shake your groove thang to the disco beat. In our version we pay homage the beloved Mr. Travolta in all his Trex glory.

And for the enfant terrible in all of us, we suggest you check out our Dino Rocker T complete with Fender guitar, amped and ready to Rock!

Party people in the house tonight? Jurassic Rock! Let’s go!

“Saturday Dino Fever” is available at the Milk on the Rocks boutique at 7 rue de Mézières, 75006 Paris

Freud meets Jesus in Style

A new barrage of gadgets and toys is yours to discover at the Milk on the Rocks boutique in Paris! Check out these two must-have neo-paper-doll magnets to “enlighten” your fridge of Sigmund Freud and Jesus Christ decked out with their multiple fab wardrobe and accessories options. “What Would They Wear?” That’s for you to decide; dress them in your style of choice from hip hop to punk to hippie chic! Très cool.

I’m a modern man

At Milk on the Rocks, we hail the modern man that does the laundry!

At the Paris boutique, October’s window undergoes a major cleaning, with an explosion of unique colorful clothes for your favorite little people. Tumbling out of the gentle cycle of our giant cardboard washer is more of the fab collection, with a drying line featuring our adorable ensembles for baby. Don’t forget Dad in the center of it all, being the man of the house, and taking up all the laundry duties with flare — ah yes, a girl can dream.

Washing instructions: wash, wear, happy smile, repeat.

Raw Art

Our love at first site moment of the week:

Made only with raw vegetables, these incredible mini-reproductions of Great Master works by Magritte, Léonardo da Vinci, and Picasso, are a fab marketing campaign by the resident geniuses at Young and Rubicam for kitchen products by Magimix. Bravo! We hope this inspires you in creating your next culinary masterpiece.

Wearable Art.

Join us for a gallery tour of the Milk on the Rocks graphics this season.

A flurry of painterly influence breathes life in this season’s collection with these two new prints inspired by two great painters. The iconic Van Gogh himself is immortalized in our own homage to the master painter’s self portrait in “Van Dog”. Without missing a melancholic beat, not to mention a humorous take on the original, the ear of the dog is detachable.

The ever charismatic Ms. Frida Kahlo is our second muse of honor. The rich jewel tones reminiscent of the Mexican heritage of it’s original counterpart is appropriated into “Frida Cat”, a most elegant feline.
